Can anyone recommend a good Veterinarian in the Los Angeles area?

Sassy Shih Tzu asked:

Can anyone recommend a good veterinarian in the Los Angeles area? I know this is a huge area. But, I don’t mind traveling as long as I know my puppy is getting the best care.

I dunno… All the vets I’ve gone to I liked. Don’t know if that says if most vets are good, but I can tell you who they are.

Here’s one that I really like, but it’s a bit far. He’s closer to downtown LA:

    Dr. Yves Galea
    Sepulveda Animal Hospital
    4300 Sepulveda Blvd
    Culver City, CA 90230
    (310) 397-0774
He’s not my regular vet. Dr. Galea is from France and very knowledgeable. My dog broke his leg and had to have a very expensive surgery. I was debating whether I’d be able to afford it when a vet friend recommended this doctor. He was very kind and did the surgery very well.

    Good luck!

I prefer Holistic Vets and these 2 look really good. They both practice many modalities. And they both have websites to visit.
