Map Quest could help you find the answer.

Yes, it’s possible but you should spend more than just a day in L.A. if you can. There is so much to see and do there!

It’s a 4-5 hour drive from Vegas to L.A., depending upon where in L.A. you want to end up. The Los Angeles basin is HUGE. Do you know what you want to see/do while you’re there? If you’re only staying a day, it is probably a better idea to fly. It’s only an hour flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeles (LAX), and with the price of gas right now, it’s probably not a whole lot more expensive than driving!

I just checked (Southwest Airlines’ website) and there are $59 one way flights available throughout June from Vegas to LAX. Saves a ton of time and not all that expensive, but I recommend staying in L.A. for more than a day if you can swing it.

It would take about a 4 hour drive! I’ve done it so it is do able but if I were you I wouldn’t just drive the 4 hours there spend the day and then drive 4 hours back ..It’s kinda long drive to end up only spending a few hours in LA

It is about 300 miles, a 4-6 hour drive depending on the day of week and time.

Yes! I used to drive to Vegas from LA about once a month. It is a 3.5-4 hour drive. It is an easy drive, but don’t do it on a Sunday afternoon when the rest of California is driving back home from Vegas.
Also, avoid rush hour in LA.
You will take the 15 south to the 210 west to 605 south to the 10 west.
