Anyone in the Los Angeles area know where I can find a still green field of grass or tall plants?

Are there any large open fields that are still green in or around the public parks or recreation areas in Los Angeles/Ventura counties. Malibu? Oxnard? Ventura? Tall grass and/or plants. There must be something!

try the Arcadia Arboretum. Beautiful place, lots of areas with grass, plants, different trails with trees, ponds with ducks and fish. I recommend it

The Santa Monica mountains. Also the bluff overlooking the Santa Monica pier and the Pacific Ocean.

Kenneth Hahn. This county park shares two areas, one is a baseball field - the other is a rec park that has its own environmental sections including but not limited to a desert habitat, a rain forest habitat, flat as well as hilly green grasses and even a lil fishing. Check it out and explore. Lots of photographers go there because of the multiple locations set in one area for one fee.
