How many people in Los Angeles are like the ones in those crazy reality shows?

How many people in Los Angeles are materialistic, do anything for fame, talk weird and spoiled like Playboy girls, Keeping up with the Kardashians, dating and other reality shows?

I’ve been to many parts of CA and the people there are just like anywhere else. I find even wierder people in other parts of the country, especially the Midwest.

About the same proportion you see anywhere in the USA. Most Los Angelinos are just regular folks.

Believe it or not there were people like the Kardashains when I worked in West Los Angeles for rich folks. Bev Hills and Hidden Hills collects this type of person because their money protects them from having to be polite, responsible and really work.Now I know the K ardashians have their stores but frankly, it looks they they have the store more out of boredom than a real work ethic.
Because their are so many like rich kids in the area they finish school late and get down to really working only by their early 30s. It is really pathetic to see them never leave the house because their brains are fried on drugs or they do not know how to work.
But on the other hand, some of the kids that are give awesome opportunities for work and education go for it are are extremely successful.
But for the middle class we all work , if you can not afford an education you can start with the community colleges and work from there on up.
But just like all other cities drugs and self aggrandizement is a problem.

other than the gangs and illegal aliens and the wannabees Los Angeles is no different that any other city in the United states.
the only people that **** me off to no end are the idiots who cant stop quoting lines from movies or inject lyrics from songs . the rest of the phonies i just block out

Very few. Most of the population is not in a reality show. I think that even some of those who are in reality shows fake the behavior that you describe to get on the shows and are really more normal than they appear.

Well if you ask me, i live in Los Angeles. Some of the people can be really materialistic. But there are some people that aren’t. Not everybody does something for fame. Most of the time those reality shows, are over played. California isnt really like that, sometimes that stuff can be true. Like the Girls Next Door, that is just stupid. People in Los Angeles do not act like that. The only reason they act like that cause they are on TV & are living in the Playboy Mansion. && Keeping with the Kardashian, they are just acting like themselves. Everybody acts different in Los Angeles. You just cant base if off of a TV show. Hope that helped :]
